Fadi Gaziri

Fadi is a classically trained composer who specialises in writing original music for media and television. He has composed original music for a variety of projects including animations, drama, children’s programs, corporate, audio-books, musicals, Big Bands, rock bands and Symphony Orchestras in the UK and Germany.

Fadi studied Music and composition at Durham with Pr. Martin Harry, and then followed up with an MA in Film Music at Bournemouth University under the wing of Pr. Steven Deutsch. 

“As a media and Film composer one of the most important lessons I learnt was that it’s all about film/project – not the music! It’s amazing how many prominent professionals out there who still don’t realise that.”

Wide-range experience

• Since 2004 performs as a solo pianist/vocalist in Sweden, Norway, Germany and the UK.
• Experienced Musical Director (Fame, West Side Story, The Gondoliers, Les Miserable, Cabaret and other), Conductor and Arranger.
• Composed music for the BBC in the UK and NDR in Germany.

Versatility

Fadi is one of the lucky ones to have been gifted with perfect pitch, which basically means he can listen to any piece of music and play it back. This has been particularly useful when a director says to you “I want the music to sound like this without infringing on the copyright”.
